Is a WWE House Coming to HHN?

In the chaos of July 2019, wrestling fans were floored by the return of Bray Wyatt — this time with a terrifying new persona, The Fiend. That same night, something far more intriguing happened for haunt fans. Michael Aiello, Senior Director of Creative Development at Universal Orlando and HHN legend, tweeted his excitement about Wyatt’s return… and the man himself, Windham Rotunda, replied:

“Let’s do the HHN house! I’ll be there in person. That’s a promise.”

A promise. From The Fiend. Let that sink in.

While a WWE-themed house has never materialized at Halloween Horror Nights Orlando, the relationship between WWE and HHN isn’t a new conversation. Over in Hollywood, Universal Studios hosted a “The Undertaker: No Mercy” house in the year 2000. That maze was largely underwhelming for hardcore haunt fans, but it did show the viability of WWE as an IP for Universal’s seasonal event.

So… why are we bringing this up now?

Fast-forward to 2025. Rumors are swirling that HHN is going all-out for its milestone anniversaries — HHN 35 in Orlando and HHN 10 at Universal Studios Beijing. Legacy, nostalgia, and cross-brand synergy are all hot topics internally. Add to that:

  • The rise of The Fiend to cult status since 2019
  • The tragic passing of Bray Wyatt in 2023, cementing his legacy
  • Fan petitions and speculation about a tribute house or scarezone

And suddenly, that tweet from Windham Rotunda feels less like a throwaway line and more like a missed opportunity — or perhaps… a delayed one?

What Could a WWE House Look Like in 2025?

If Universal finally leans into a WWE horror crossover, The Fiend is the perfect lead. Imagine this:

  • The Firefly Funhouse turns sinister — puppets twitching in the dark, distorted music, flickering CRT screens
  • Walkthrough scenes from iconic Wyatt matches — red-lit arenas, swamp battles, and the unforgettable “House of Horrors” match
  • Cameos or audio illusions of legends like Undertaker, Kane, or Alexa Bliss during her Fiend-adjacent run
  • Tribute moments honoring Bray Wyatt’s storytelling legacy, while delivering real scares

Given Universal’s respect for fallen icons (see: the Jack Schmidt legacy or tributes to Bill & Ted), a Bray Wyatt–themed experience wouldn’t be out of place. It would be earned. Emotional. And terrifying.

WWE at HHN 2025: What Are the Odds?

If Universal can secure the rights — and if WWE is open to celebrating one of their most creative horror-adjacent characters — this could be a standout original/IP hybrid house for 2025.

And let’s not forget: Windham said he’d be there. While tragically that’s no longer possible in person, the creative spirit he brought to WWE is still hauntingly present.

Could 2025 finally see the promise fulfilled?

We’ll be watching.
